Despite there being a major delay due to problems with English heritage, when the work finally got under way Dimitar on top of everything, ready to go. Being a structural architect, it’s important to have someone I can trust on the job – he is efficient and effective and we get on well. Best of all, he’s not afraid to consult the architect about engineering concerns. Although GLS wasn’t the cheapest, I take that as a good sign – his quotes are competitive and the quality speaks for itself. I”m already speaking to him about future jobs. “Dimitar and his team at GLS worked on renovating a buy to let property for us in late 2013. The work included damp proofing, repair of floorboards, laying of tiles, extensive painting, plastering, installation of a new kitchen, and building a new conservatory-style roof from scratch. Dimitar was excellent at communicating with us when any problems arose, and completed all the work to a high standard and on schedule. We will be in contact with GLS Building Services in the future for ongoing maintenance at the property and would highly recommend Dimitar and his team.”
“Dimitar and his team at GLS came to my 2 bed flat to evaluate and fix a damp issue within the flat. They carried out what turned out to be major works including stripping all affected plaster, replacing ceilings and adding damp proofing to the interior walls. They also carried out major damp proofing to the external walls. On top of this a new felt roof and decking was installed and the flat completely redecorated as a result of the damage caused by the damp issue. Dimitar managed all the services during the works which was important for me and required very little on site presence. He also kept me very well informed about each step and most importantly, offered solutions to any issue that came up during the works without having to add to the costs. Dimitar has been very straight forward and honest from the start and someone I would highly recommend.”
